Howdy!
Those of you who know me know I'm always revealing my west Texas roots through language. I thought I might need to share some of our sayings with the masses. I must admit that I'm not sure these colloquialisms are unique to west Texas, so if you're sure they're not, I'll allow you to write and give me a history lesson. If you happen to know a good ole' saying please feel free to pass it along and I'll post it. Just keep it Christian, okay? West Texas "SAYING OF THE WEEK"... "I wouldn't trade you for 14 purple-spotted puppies, but maybe for 15!"
-My grandmother, Bamzi, always said that to us growing up. She is an inspiration to us all.
